Davis-Stewart Named NEC Player of the Week

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Senior forward Denia Davis-Stewart of the Merrimack College women’s basketball program was named Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Week.
Davis-Stewart’s posted her first career triple-double in the Warriors first Division I win that included career highs in both scoring (31) and blocked shots (12). She posted the most blocked shots in a game by a Northeast Conference (NEC) student-athlete in five years, and was tied for the third most rejections in a single game by any Division I athlete since the 2014-15 campaign.  She also grabbed 13 rebounds in the win.
She followed up her career performance with a 25 point and 16 rebound double-double in the Warriors loss the Lehigh on Saturday afternoon.

The Warriors head to Dartmouth College on Wednesday to take on the Big Green.  Tipoff is set for 8p.m. and will be shown on ESPN +.
