Goaltender Calli Hogarth Commits to Merrimack

The Merrimack women’s hockey team received a commitment from goaltender Calli Hogarth last week.

Last season, Hogarth played for the Central York Panthers. According to Elite Prospects, she’s projected to arrive in North Andover in 2022.

The Panthers, in announcing her commitment on their website, wrote:

Calli was an integral part of Central York Panthers U18AA’s successful 2019/20 regular season campaign, good for second place in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League’s highly competitive Central Division. Calli posted a stellar .939 save percentage over 36 games and was counted on in many big games for the Panthers over the course of the season. She helped to backstop the team into the third round of the playoffs where they were facing the regular-season division champion Brampton Canadette’s when the season ended prematurely due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Known for her positive and hardworking attitude, Calli will undoubtedly be a player of influence for the Merrimack program for many years to come. When Calli suits up for the Warriors in 2023 she will be playing with fellow Panthers Kennedy MacAlpine and Alexa Pongo. We wish her continued success on her hockey journey.
