WIH: ’98 Madison Burton Commits to Merrimack


According to a tweet, ’98-born forward¬†Madison Burton has committed to the Merrimack women’s hockey program. Burton, who played for the Chicago Mission in the HPHL this past season, totaled nine points (6 goals, 3 assists) in 14 games. Chicago is one of the best teams in the highly-competitive HPHL.

The Warriors will make their season debut this fall. On Sept. 25, the Warriors will host Whitby in an exhibition game. The first game in program history is scheduled for Oct. 2, when the Warriors host St. Cloud State in the first of a two-game series at Lawler Rink.@Merrimack
