NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women’s lacrosse will take on Drexel University for its fifth road game in a row. The Warriors have been visitors for four of their first five games of the season. They have traveled to the University of New Hampshire, Canisius, Niagara, and Lafayette. The contest against Drexel is set for 4 p.m.
Five Things To Know:
- Senior Ally DaCosta is leading the team in points with 17 on the season. The fourth-year attacker has five goals and 12 assists so far on the season. She also leads the team in forced turnovers with 14.
- Junior Haley Bartlett has scored a team-high 10 goals on the season. In the Warriors last game against Lafayette she scored a hat trick in under a minute to get the Warriors back in the game.
- Senior goalkeeper Tammy Nguyen is leading the team in groundballs with 14 pick ups on the season. In net this year she has 50 saves.
- This will be the first ever game played between Merrimack and Drexel in women’s lacrosse
- Drexel is currently 2-2 on the season. Redshirt junior Lucy Schneidereith is the Dragons leading scorer with 16 goals through four games this season.
