SOMERSET, N.J. – Merrimack College women’s lacrosse senior midfielder, Meghan Dzialo, was named to the NEC All-Conference Second Team for the 2021 season, an announced by the league office Thursday.
The Hampton, N.H. native was one of the most electrifying goal scorers in the conference this spring, as she topped the league in goals per game throughout most of the year and ended in third in the category with 3.14. Her 48 points on 44 goals and four assists led the team and brought her career totals to 81 goals and 10 assists for 91 points.
She was one of the Warriors’ most consistent players, as she started all 14 games and had at least one goal in all but one of the team’s contests. Her top performance came Apr. 17 at Central Connecticut when she netted five goals and added four assists for a single game career-high nine points. She also set a single game career-high Apr. 10 when she tallied seven goals against LIU.
Her goals per game total is also the 10th-best single season performance in Merrimack program history and the best during the Warriors’ time as a Division I school.
