Merrimack Women’s Tennis Picked Fourth in NE-10 Poll

Aiming for its fourth consecutive trip to the Northeast-10 Championship in 2016, the Merrimack College women’s tennis was predicted to finish fourth in the NE-10 Women’s Tennis Preseason Coaches’ Poll as announced by the league offices Friday morning.

Stonehill and Southern New Hampshire (127) ranked in a tie for second, with the Skyhawks collecting four first-place tallies compared to two for the Penmen.

Merrimack’s 103 points edged out Bentley (96) for fourth, despite the Falcons receiving the final first-place vote. Le Moyne was just one point back with 95 to end up sixth, while Assumption was close behind in seventh with 90 points.
