WTEN: Grace Messina Named NE-10 POTW

Merrimack College sophomore Grace Messina was named Northeast-10 Player of the Week after going a combined 6-0 in matches against Saint Anselm, American International and Southern New Hampshire.

The Warriors finished the week 2-1 and are now 3-1 (3-1 NE-10) on the season.

The second-year player and reigning NE-10 Player of the Year has yet to lose a set this season and is 4-0 at No.1 singles. At No.1 doubles, Messina has a record of 3-0.

The Warriors are back in action today when they take on St. Michael’s College at 3 p.m.
