Every year since our site started in 2006, we’ve published end-of-season awards for the Merrimack men’s hockey team. The awards are voted on annually by our readers.

Team MVP: The player voted to be the most valuable member of the team.
Unsung Hero: The player whose contributions often went unnoticed or unheralded.
Best Defenseman: The defenseman voted to be the most valuable to the team.
Best Defensive Forward: The forward whose defensive contributions were voted to be the best on the team.
Improved/Comeback Player of the Year: The player who showed the most improvement from last season to this season.
Rookie of the Year: The player voted to contribute the most to the team in his first year of competition.
Fan’s Award: The player voted to be the most fan-favorite.
