Max Newton and Steven Jandric made their AHL debuts over the weekend for the Providence Bruins, making them the eighth and ninth Warriors to play in the AHL this season. That’s the most players in the AHL since I began covering Merrimack in 2006, and it might be the most players at one time in the league in program history.

Newton and Jandric join Brett Seney, Johnathan Kovacevic, Declan Carlile, Patrick Holway, Zach Uens, Collin Delia, and Tyler Irvine as AHL players this season.

With Uens and Carlile signing NHL deals, the Warriors also have five former players currently under NHL contracts at one time, which is also the most since I’ve started covering the program in 2006.
