Alumni Report: Kovacevic climbing the all-time list
Johnathan Kovacevic is climbing the Merrimack NHL alumni list. Kovacevic is now up to 56 career games, with 52 coming this season for the Montreal Canadiens. That puts him tied for sixth among Merrimack alums in NHL games played; he’s tied with Matt Foy, who played 56 games from 2005-08. However, Kovacevic will break that tie as soon as tomorrow when the Canadiens visit the Philadelphia Flyers.
