Alumni Report: Kovacevic on Montreal's opening night roster

It appears that Johnathan Kovacevic will be the lone former Warrior to begin the season on an NHL roster after he was claimed off waivers by the Montreal Canadiens this weekend. But, Brett Seney and Collin Delia might only be one injury away from being called up. I think most people expected Declan Carlile and Zach Uens to take the next step this season in the AHL before contending for NHL time, but you never know what might happen if they start well and there are roster spots that open up ahead of them in the NHL.

There were a handful of ECHL signings this past week as well, and those players have been added to this report.
