Alumni Report: Kovacevic set to play 100th NHL game this week

Johnathan Kovacevic scored for the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night, but the Habs lost 5-2 to the Boston Bruins at TD Garden.

Kovacevic left Merrimack in 2019 and signed with the Winnipeg Jets. Saturday's game in Boston was his 99th NHL game. Kovacevic will play in his 100th NHL game on Wednesday night in Anaheim. He'll become the third former Warrior to hit that milestone, joining Steve McKenna (373 games) and John Jakopin (113 games).
