Alumni Report: Tavernier signs contract extension with KalPa

Former Merrimack forward Sami Tavernier has signed a contract extension with KalPa in the Finnish elite league. Tavernier is currently in his first season with the team.

“I feel good about the new contract,” Tavernier said. “I have had a good time in Kuopio and KalPa is a good club with great opportunities to take the next step. I look forward to getting back into play and wearing the KalPa shirt again.”
