Ben Brar signs with the Florida Everblades

Merrimack captain Ben Brar signed with the Florida Everblades (ECHL) on Wednesday.

Brar had 19 points (5g-14a) in 35 games this season as a senior. He finished his Merrimack career with 155 career games, which set a new program record.

Brar becomes the eighth member of the 2024 class to sign a pro contract. Will Calverley signed with the Everblades out of Merrimack last season.

Former Merrimack defenseman Zach Uens is currently with the Everblades.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers.
