Ben Yurchuk commits to Merrimack
Merrimack received a commitment from 4-star center Ben Yurchuk on Monday.
TMR projects the 2005-born Quebec native as an arrival for the 2025-26 season.
Yurchuk played 62 games for the Chicago Steel (USHL) last season and scored 31 points (10g-21a). He had more than one offer to attend other colleges this fall but chose the Warriors and the 2025 arrival.
Neutral Zone has Yurchuk ranked as the No. 27 uncommitted ’05 player in the nation.
Yurchuk was originally committed to Northeastern, but that commitment was removed from USHL line charts in November. This past season, he was a teammate of incoming freshman Michael Emerson.
