Borek, Merrimack agree to a contract extension

Merrimack men’s hockey coach Scott Borek has signed a multi-year contract extension. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Borek was hired by Merrimack in 2018 and it’s believed that next season would have been the last on his original contract.

This season’s Merrimack team has tied the 2011-12 team for the second-most wins by a team in the program’s Division I/Hockey East era.
