Brett Seney signs contract extension with Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks re-signed Brett Seney to a one-year contract on Wednesday. The deal will pay Seney $775,000 at the NHL level and $475,000 if he’s in the minors. However, the Blackhawks have guaranteed he’ll make at least $500,000. This is the largest contract of Seney’s career.
