Defenseman Colby Bukes was announced as a transfer from Minnesota State, but he has been removed from the Merrimack roster for undisclosed reasons. Prior to college, Bukes played in the USHL for the Madison Capitols.

Bukes appeared in six games over two seasons for Mankato.

With Bukes no longer on the roster, Merrimack has added Mike Brown for the upcoming season. Brown will wear No. 4.

The 2001-born defenseman appeared in 47 games for the Youngstown Phantoms in the USHL this past season, scoring two goals and adding 12 assists. Prior to the USHL Brown spent two seasons with the Jr. Bruins in the NCDC; the Belmont native had 46 points in 99 games for the Bruins.
