Bucknell rounds out Merrimack's 2024 football schedule

Merrimack released its 2024 football schedule, confirming the previously reported games and rounding out the schedule with a game at Bucknell on Sept. 14.

The schedule includes 11 games. Merrimack is entering its first season as an FCS Independent following their departure from the Northeast Conference.

"I believe everybody associated with our program is truly excited about the level of competition we'll be playing this upcoming season," said Merrimack head coach Mike Gennetti. "The opportunity to compete against some of the best institutions in the Northeast will only continue to grow Merrimack College Football."

The schedule includes two previously reported FBS games against Air Force and UConn to start the season.

"We are excited to play two nationally recognized FBS programs to start our season," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Jeremy Gibson. "We have then positioned ourselves to play some of the premier FCS institutions in the Northeast. An independent schedule like this will only benefit Merrimack football in the long run."
