By the Numbers: Merrimack vs. Northeastern

Merrimack and Northeastern will play in the Hockey East first round for the second straight season on Wednesday night.

The Huskies won last year’s matchup 4-0 at Matthews Arena.

Merrimack is 2-1 against Northeastern this season. The Warriors defeated the Huskies on Dec. 14 (2-1) and Jan. 25 (4-3). Northeastern defeated Merrimack 2-1 last Thursday night at Lawler Arena.

The teams have split the last four meetings, but the Huskies are 13-3 in the last 16 meetings dating back to Nov. 9, 2019.
