Former Merrimack defenseman Christian Felton signed with Kalmar HC of HockeyAllsvenskan in Sweden this week, becoming the 34th former Warrior to sign a professional contract for the 2026-27 season.
The 26-year-old defenseman signed with the Vancouver Canucks after graduating from Merrimack in 2024. He spent two seasons in the Canucks organization, appearing in 35 ECHL games and 14 AHL games last season.
Felton played three seasons for the Warriors from 2021-24 and recorded 17 points in 84 games.
He is one of three former Merrimack players who will compete in HockeyAllsvenskan this season, joining Adam Arvedson (Vasteras IK) and Hugo Ollas (Nybro Vikings).
