College Hockey Notes: Most NCAA opt-in teams reportedly moving to 22 scholarships, with additional rev-share money pools on top

—— Brad Elliott Schlossman of The Grand Forks Herald reported this weekend that most opt-in schools are going to elevate from 18 to 22 total scholarships (the new max for those schools will be the 26-player roster cap). I've heard the same on scholarships, however, that number does not include revenue-sharing pools at most schools.

So, for example, some schools will increase from 18 to 22 scholarships, and also have a budget in the mid-six figures for direct revenue sharing.

Chris Karpman from SunDevilSource.com reported over the weekend that Arizona State will fund all 26 scholarships, and ASU is also in the rev-share market with players.

That also assumes the 26-player roster cap remains in some form after Judge Claudia Wilken said last week she wants that part of the House Settlement changed or she will not approve it.
