College Hockey Notes: One month countdown
It's hard to believe that the college hockey season begins in about a month. Merrimack opens the season on Oct. 7 at Sacred Heart in an exhibition game, and then the Warriors will travel to Arizona State on Oct. 14-15 for the official start of the regular season.
Before we get into season preview material, which will be coming over the next month, here are a few notes on the upcoming season that affect the Warriors, Hockey East, and the national scene.
