Dan Jewell promoted to associate head coach
Dan Jewell has been promoted to associate head coach by Merrimack head coach Scott Borek.
Jewell is set to begin his fifth season with the Warriors in 2023-24.
"Dan has done an exceptional job and this promotion recognizes the tireless effort he puts in for our program," Borek said. "His ability to recruit the right student-athletes and then mentor and develop them has helped our program reach this point. Merrimack is incredibly fortunate to have him."
Jewell arrived at Merrimack in 2019 from RPI, where he was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Before RPI, Jewell coached in the USHL with the Bloomington Thunder.
As we previously reported, Jimmy Mullin will join the staff as a new assistant coach. Mullin was hired from the U.S. National Team Development Program.
