Defenseman Tristen Doyle commits to Merrimack
Defenseman Tristen Doyle has committed to Merrimack, according to sources.
The Winnipeg-born blueliner, a 2006 birth year, spent three seasons with the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the WHL before being dealt to the Saskatoon Blades this past offseason. In 33 games with the Blades this season, Doyle has produced 22 points, scoring four goals and adding 18 assists.
Neutral Zone rates Doyle as a four-star recruit and slotted him No. 16 among WHL defensemen in his age group.
