Donovan Wadley enters the transfer portal

Donovan Wadley announced on Tuesday that he would enter the transfer portal. The receiver/returner was limited to just four games this season after suffering an undisclosed injury on Sept. 21 against Maine, returning the game's opening kickoff.

Wadley was on the preseason watchlist for the Walter Payton Award.

In 2023, Wadley had 216 rushing yards on 34 carries and 471 receiving yards on 26 catches, for a total of 11 touchdowns.

Sophomore offensive lineman Brandon Smith also entered the portal along with lineman/long snapper Christian Smith.
