Edmead still waiting on waiver decision

Merrimack guard Malik Edmead is still awaiting a decision from the NCAA on his waiver for immediate eligibility this season.

With the waiver still pending, Edmead did not make his season debut on Monday against Vermont. Edmead used his one-time transfer in 2022 when he left Merrimack for Albany.

North Dakota's Tyree Ihenacho is a "boomerang transfer" like Edmead (returning to the school they previously transferred from). Last week, Ihenacho had his waiver denied, but he filed an appeal.
