Ethan Beyer named Top Scholar Athlete, nearly every Warrior named to All-Academic Team

Merrimack tied for the lead in Hockey East with 25 players named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team, a testament to the program’s commitment to excellence both on the ice and in the classroom. Players earn All-Academic Team honors by posting a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Warriors finished tied with UMass Lowell for the most All-Academic selections.

In addition to nearly the entire roster earning All-Academic Team recognition, freshman defenseman Ethan Beyer was named the Top Scholar-Athlete, recognizing the highest GPA among conference players at his position. Mark Hillier also earned Distinguished Scholar honors after being named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team in each of his five seasons with the Warriors.
