Exhibition #1 Lineup: Merrimack vs. U.S. NTDP
NORTH ANDOVER — The Merrimack men’s hockey team will drop the puck with the U.S. NTDP Under-18 team today at 3 p.m. inside Lawler Arena. The Warriors and NTDP will play for the third time in history. The NTDP beat Boston University, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon.
Merrimack will dress a huge lineup today and some key players are getting the afternoon off. Max Newton, Steven Jandric, Liam Walsh, and Jake Durflinger will all sit out today’s game along with Christian Felton (broken thumb).
Hugo Ollas will make the start in goal for Merrimack.
The NTDP’s lineup on Saturday featured 21 Division I commitments, including players who had committed to Michigan (4), BC (4), BU (4), North Dakota (1), Northeastern (1), Minnesota (2), Ohio State (1), St. Cloud State (1), Minnesota Duluth (1), UNH (1), and Providence (1).
There was one uncommitted player in the NTDP’s lineup on Saturday … goaltender Colin Winn, who isn’t a full-time member of the roster and has been with the Jr. Bruins in the NCDC this season.
