Ferris State leading scorer Antonio Venuto commits to Merrimack out of the transfer portal

Venuto, a 6-foot-3 winger, had 26 points (12g-14a) in 36 games for the Bulldogs this season. He also led the team with 88 shots on goal. Venuto was also an E +/- rating on a Ferris team that was -27 overall.
Venuto is a left shot from Whitmore Lake, Michigan. Before arriving at Ferris, he played for the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League.
Venuto formerly played with Merrimack grad Declan Carlile (Compuware, Detroit Jr. Red Wings).
