Filip Forsmark signs pro deal with the Allen Americans

Merrimack grad forward Filip Forsmark signed a contract with the Allen Americans on Wednesday.

Forsmark appeared in 35 games for the Warriors this season and had 18 points (5g-13a). Forsmark appeared in 123 games over his NCAA career and had 74 points (26g-48a). 

The Americans are the ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and are located in Allen, Tex. Forsmark is the first Warrior to sign his first pro deal with the club.
