Five Merrimack recruits listed on NHL Central Scouting Preliminary Watch List

Five Merrimack recruits were listed on the preliminary watch list for the 2025 NHL Draft, distributed by NHL Central Scouting.

This marks the most players Merrimack has ever had on this list in the same season.

Luke Goukler was given a “C” grade, which projects him as a middle-round pick. Jack Good, David Green, Erik Kald, and Cole Longacre are all listed as players to watch.

All five players are part of a talented ‘06 class for the Warriors. A few weeks ago, in a recruit report, I noted that the ‘06 class could be one of the best classes in the program's history.
