In today’s update, I have five things to watch ahead of this weekend’s series between Merrimack and Providence. I also have five things to watch ahead of two important basketball games for Merrimack, as the Warriors travel to Stonehill and host Wagner.

Three players with Merrimack ties were listed on NHL Central Scouting’s Mid-Term Rankings for the 2023 NHL Draft, led by sophomore forward Matt Copponi, who was ranked No. 99.
