Merrimack is in Belfast, Northern Ireland this weekend for the Friendship Four tournament.

The Warriors will face Boston University on Friday (9 a.m. ET). On Saturday, the Warriors will face either Harvard or Notre Dame.

These will be Merrimack’s first games outside of the U.S. since the Warriors participated in the National Capital Tournament in Ottawa on Nov. 24-25, 1995. The Warriors beat Wilfrid Laurier in the first game and tied Princeton in the tournament’s final game.

Merrimack also played in the National Capital Tournament in 1993-94 against Western Ontario and Ottawa.

These games will be the first time Merrimack’s program competes overseas (according to available records).
