Game 12 Pregame: Merrimack hosts Army in first game of Turkey Leg Classic

NORTH ANDOVER — Merrimack will host Army this afternoon in the first game of the Turkey Leg Classic, a combined tournament hosted by the Warriors and UMass Lowell. Bentley is at Lowell today and will play at Lawler Arena against the Warriors tomorrow.

The team with the most points at the end of the weekend will be declared the tournament winner. The tie-breakers are (in order): Head-to-Head, Goals Against, and Highest Goal Differential. If all of those categories are also tied, co-winners will be declared.

Game Notes

— Zach Bookman is in the lineup for the Warriors. Bookman blocked a shot in the second period of last Saturday's game at UMass Lowell and missed the remainder of the contest.

— Alex Jefferies is moving back to center today. He'll play between Mac Welsher and Michael Citara. Ben Brar and Filip Forsmark will play alongside Matt Copponi.

— Zachary Borgiel is the expected starter today after Hugo Ollas started last Saturday's game against the River Hawks.
