Merrimack closed out the first half with a stinker against Yale, falling 5-2 after digging a two-goal hole early in the game, tying the score, and then the Bulldogs scored three straight in the final five minutes.

The Warriors entered the break on a three-game losing streak.

Brown entered the break with a 4-1 loss at home against Northeastern on Dec. 9. However, the Bears outshot the Huskies 36-26.

After snapping a four-game losing streak on Nov. 17, Brown entered the break going 2-2-1 in its last five games.
