Game #18 Lineup: Merrimack at Brown
PROVIDENCE — Merrimack is in Providence today to take on the Brown University Bears for the first time since 2009. The Warriors are playing for the first time in 16 days after entering the semester break with a 2-2 tie against Dartmouth on Dec. 17. Brown returned from its break on Friday afternoon; they fell to Boston University, 5-1.
Hugo Ollas will start in goal for the Warriors today. As I noted in my preview yesterday, Mac Welsher and Mike Brown are both out of the lineup, but I’m told they’re not healthy scratches, which means they’re both dealing with either an injury or illness.
Ryan Nolan will get back into the lineup today for the first time since Nov. 23 against Holy Cross. Christian Felton, who has also been out since Nov. 23 dealing with a broken thumb, will return to the lineup today.
