Game #20 Lineup: Merrimack vs. #17 Providence
NORTH ANDOVER — The Merrimack men’s hockey team will host Providence tonight in the first game of a weekend home-and-home series between the programs. The puck will drop tonight at 7 p.m. and the series will conclude tomorrow night at Schneider Arena with a 5:30 p.m. opening faceoff.
Hugo Ollas will make his second straight start in net for the Warriors. He comes into tonight’s game with a 2.54 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage. But, in his last three appearances, Ollas has posted a 1.33 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. The Warriors have won three of Ollas’ last four starts.
Steven Jandric and Zach Uens will both return to the lineup after missing last weekend’s game against Bentley. Jake Durflinger will also return for the Warriors. Mac Welsher and Mike Brown, who have been out of the lineup since Dec. 17 against Dartmouth, will both return tonight. Welsher and Brown were out of the lineup due to health and safety protocols.
