Game Notes

— Merrimack will be without Alex Jefferies, who was hurt in the second period of last Saturday's 4-1 win over UMass. Jefferies has been diagnosed with an upper-body injury and will be out for at least the next 2-3 weeks, Merrimack head coach Scott Borek said earlier this week. The Warriors are hopeful he can return sometime in February.

— With Jefferies out of the lineup, Nikita Borodayenko will get plugged into the line with Matt Copponi and Filip Forsmark. Borodayenko played for BC coach Greg Brown two years ago when both were with the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the USHL.
