Game 3 Preview: Merrimack hits the road to face Maine on Sunday
Merrimack hits the road on Sunday afternoon for a 4 p.m. tip at Maine.
The Warriors are 1-2 all-time against the Black Bears. Maine won a 50-47 game last December in North Andover. The Warriors are 1-1 all-time at Maine, winning on Dec. 21, 2021.
The game will be played at Memorial Gym. The Black Bears previously used the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor as their home building. This will be Merrimack's first visit to Memorial Gym.

“The Pit” at Memorial Gym (3,100)
The Pit opened in 1935. It's an old-school basketball building, where the court is about 10 feet below the first row of the stands (hence, "the pit).
The original capacity was 1,350, which increased to 3,100 after renovations in 2014. The cost of the 2014 renovations was $12.7 million, which included arena enhancements, an athletic center, new training facilities, and locker rooms.
