STORRS, Conn. -- Merrimack opens a weekend home-and-home series with the UConn Huskies tonight at the brand-new Toscano Family Ice Forum on UConn's campus.
This is Merrimack's first trip to the Toscano Family Ice Forum, which opened late last year.

-- Nikita Borodayenko will make his season debut for the Warriors. The Russian sophomore has missed the first seven games due to an illness and an injury. Borodayenko will skate on the left side with Mac Welsher and Tyler Young.
-- Alex Jefferies will play left wing tonight. After playing center the first two games of the season, he'll be reunited with center Matt Copponi. Newcomer Michael Citara has the right-wing spot on that line.
-- Adam Arvedson is back in the lineup tonight. Arvedson has missed the last two weeks with an injury. He's going to skate as the seventh defenseman.
-- Merrimack is expected to go with Hugo Ollas (2.16/.915) in goal. He'll be opposed by sophomore Arsenii Sergeev (2.40/.916). Both goalies are drafted -- Ollas by the New York Rangers and Sergeev by the Calgary Flames.
