Game 8 Preview: Merrimack travels to D.C. to take on Georgetown on national TV

Merrimack will play Georgetown tonight, with the game set to be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports 1. This will be the first meeting between the programs.

Former Providence head coach Ed Cooley coaches Georgetown. The Warriors faced Cooley's Friars twice in recent seasons, including last season.

The Hoyas are 4-2 on the season. They're coming off a win over Jackson State this past Saturday. Georgetown also has wins over American, Mount St. Mary's, and Le Moyne. They've lost to Rutgers and Holy Cross.
