Leftover Quotes
Borek on the UVM: “They were trying to get pucks to the net with a lot of traffic. I was really pleased with the way Zach competed through that. (Vermont) made a real commitment to get traffic in front of him tonight. I was fine with the way our team competed overall. We knew we were going to get a better game from them and we did. I thought we had some great chances and in the third period we had some chances at the net front.”
Borek on the power play and where the game was lost: “We had some good looks. But I think when we look at the game, we’ll see that they played better at the front of our net than we played at the front of their net. And it's probably as simple as that. Their guy made a big play at the end, but other than that, over the whole game we had more chances. I'm sure we had more possession. But at the end of the day, we didn't win this game because we didn’t win the blue paint.”
Borek on differences between Friday to Saturday: “They played a lot harder without the puck tonight than they did last night and I think that created opportunities for them. I know we didn't get a power-play goal, although that goal we scored was at the end of the power play. Our kill was good. They got some power plays.”
