Goaltender Charlie Durkin added to Merrimack's incoming freshman class

Durkin replaces Max Beckford, who had transferred to the Warriors in the spring

Goaltender Charlie Durkin announced his commitment to Merrimack for the upcoming season. Durkin was originally expected to play for the Lincoln Stars (USHL) in 2026-27.

According to sources, Durkin will replace Max Beckford on Merrimack’s roster. Beckford, who announced his commitment to Merrimack after entering the transfer portal from Minnesota State in April, will not matriculate at Merrimack.
