Hampus Gustafsson retires from pro hockey

Former Merrimack forward Hampus Gustafsson announced his retirement from pro hockey this week.

Gustafsson, 28, just finished his second season with Rungsted Ishockey in Denmark. He appeared in 38 games this season and scored eight goals to go with 11 assists for 19 points.
