Hockey East suspends Justin Gill one game for his major penalty on Saturday night
Gill will miss Thursday's game against Northeastern
Merrimack forward Justin Gill was suspended for one game by Hockey East following an incident at the 15:39 mark of the second period on Saturday at Massachusetts.
Gill was assessed a five-minute major for contact to the head and handed a game misconduct.
Gill is ineligible to play Thursday when the Warriors host Northeastern, but he will be eligible to return to the lineup Friday against the Huskies.
