Hockey Preview: Merrimack set for home-and-home with No. 1 Boston College

Merrimack men’s hockey will face the top team in the country this weekend, traveling to No. 1 Boston College tonight at Conte Forum, and the Eagles will come to Lawler Arena on Saturday night.

The Eagles are the No. 1 team in the Pairwise, the model the NCAA uses for NCAA Tournament participation and seeding. The Eagles are the No. 2 team in the KRACH, an alternate ranking methodology not sponsored by the NCAA.

— BC leads the all-time series 113-79-27, and the Eagles have won three straight games. Before the current BC winning streak, the Warriors won four straight in the series from Nov. 6, 2021, through the 2023 Hockey East quarterfinal on March 11, 2023.
