Jacob Frasca has left Merrimack and signed an ECHL contract with the Reading Royals.
Frasca returns to the Royals, whom he played for last season, and reunites with his brother, Jordan Frasca.
Jacob Frasca appeared in three games for the Warriors this season, against Quinnipiac, UNH and in Friday’s opener against Minnesota State, with no points and two penalty minutes. He was a healthy scratch Saturday night.
Analysis: From what I’m told, there are no hard feelings. And while the optics suggest Frasca was scratched Saturday and then bolted for the ECHL, that’s not exactly what happened. It’s more nuanced than that.
