TAMPA, Fla. — Merrimack junior forward Alex Jefferies was named Second Team All-American on Friday night at the Frozen Four.

Jefferies became the first Merrimack player to earn All-American honors since Mike Collins in 2013, and he’s only the fifth player to earn All-American honors in Merrimack’s history. In addition to Jefferies and Collins, Stephane Da Costa was an All-American in 2011, Joe Cannata was an All-American in 2012, and Rejean Stringer was an All-American in 1999.
