Jefferies will miss opening weekend for Merrimack

Merrimack senior Alex Jefferies did not make the trip with the team to Arizona State this week, and he’ll miss the opening weekend with an undisclosed injury.

Merrimack head coach Scott Borek said Jefferies was injured in practice this week. He will undergo further testing, but the team is hopeful that it won’t be serious.
